What I feel on election day

woke up thinking about Jon Stewart said on his show the previous day about how we are now living in the realm of possibility, that the words 'you could be president someday' would be demonstrably true if Obama is elected President.
we are living in such a historic age and i feel thrilled to my toes.
i curl up beside the boy and gave him up such a death grip hug that he grunted
there's such hope & optimism in the air today
not just that a different name could become the president elect, but we are in the age where we can & should be boldly assertive about our race, sexuality or gender.
What wondrous world will our children live in where such historical precedents have been established and are the norm?
