So my Saturday was a total blur.
Fun Friends of Boy came over and few bottles were opened and few smokes were smoked and games were played and general fun was had by all.
In the midst of which, the chocolate fountain gizmo the boy got for birthday from above mentioned wacky friends, was worked on with non-chocolate items poured in and everybody ended up wasted and high.
Woke up bleary on today morning and went to beach to smell glorious ocean smell and see God's work in full glory.
Came back, headed to gym, library, cafe thingy for chat with new acquaintance, and indulged in contemplation about getting an iPhone - pros and cons and oh how pretty and dandy it would be.

All in all - the weekend helped ebb some of the paranoid twirlings my mind had about the role of me in married life etc. Honestly, at times I am petrified that the whole being married is a huge responsibility that I might fail miserably at. My mind has for so long been obsessed with the this impossibly perfect fairy tale Wedding that it failed to see that a pragmatic marriage with pots and pans and bills must follow .

Not too worry. One can always eat take out and steal someone's identity thereby avoiding all mundane hassles;)

Hey Me! Just catching up some. You'd gone quiet for so long I just quit coming for a bit.

If you don't realize that married life is, in fact, quite mundane before you get married, the fairy tale thing can blow up in your face. Better to know now that sometimes the towels on the floor will make you want to strangle him with them, that dishes sitting in the sink for days unless you wash them is a real possibility. And it only gets worse when you add children to the mix. Sometime, a few years down the road, you will stop in the midst of some laundry sorting or something similar and realize that you actually have one kid more than you thought you had. The difference is that he's a lot taller and is allowed to sleep with you.

If you still want to marry the Boy after realizing all of that, THEN you're ready!
