Why...
is it that the day before a holiday is always filled to the brim with work?
Is that God's way of making dang sure you appreciate the holiday he's throwing your way?
My calendar is pockmarked with meetings, conferences, side bars (who the heck thinks of these things?), mini-meetings and blah yakkity blah yakkity yak.
i am so getting out of this town tomorrow.

I hate it when that happens - but as you know, I have a job where it has to be done - holidays or no holidays. At least I can work ahead, unlike people such as towtruck drivers, ER doctors and BBQ places...
