The TV

The Roomie and I are not the types to patiently watch every episode, hoping for englightment at finale of any dramrealedy.

Of course, we don't count Battlestar Gallatica because really, that is-not-a-show!
It is a brilliant, utterly rapturous expression, of the can'tfindwordsbeautifulenoughtodescribethejoyifeelinwatchingthisdelectablepieceoftelevision type.

Really, how can you say otherwise about a show that uses Bob Dylan to cast doubt on your humanity or cylonity?

We are now making an exception to our rule of 'not putting social life on hold to sit at home on particular day of particular hour to watch any show that is not BSG'

for

a bunch of heroes.

We admit, we have not been true devotees and have not sat up every Monday to watch the unfolding drama that makes "ordinary people discover they possess extraordinary abilities"

But fate happened to make us chance on the season finale and then NBC, that persuasive devil, lured us further in with its *cof* altruistic offering of episodes online.
And now, we can't look away.

We NEED to know what will happen to the gorgeous eye candy flying brothers (one scruffy and idealistic, the other chiselled and worldly), the single mother with the superhuman alter ego, the Japanese office drone with time stopping ability, the stoned artist who paints the future, the cute Indian with the british accent who tries to find them all, the slightly chubby but cute cop who can hear your thoughts and the uninjurable Cheerleader ( listen to your father, cheerleader, for he is the Steven Carrington )

Oh NBC, you now have us and our first borns.

Oh oh oh.
I remember seeing a movie many light years ago, when I was still in school. It was called Battlestar Galactica and was about humans fleeing from the Cylons and launching a search for the last known human colony, a planet called Earth.

Any connection?

yes, yes! 3inone.
though this is a much cooler version of the old series. They remade it with the same plotlines but its way cooler. :)

DW - i do watch Medium - though only when it's on rerun. I think it's mostly because the husband has hair like the boy's. and the second kid is just adorably quirky!
mr. j - what did you think of this season finale? If you haven't seen it yet, it's interr-r-esting.
