What I crawled out in the sun for:

A lovely juicer.

I am tired of looking at fruit juice labels and getting a headache at the number of unprounceables they put in or the amount of sugar.

So i bought a juicer.

The boy was getting himself lunch when I walked back in and he was so excited and happy about the possibility of putting together new electronics, that he promptly forgot everything and sat himself down to put it together.

There was nothing much to it.

And then he got really excited and cut up apples and got juice out and was so excited about not having pulp in his juice, that he fed more apples and watched as the skin and seeds and pulp went one way and pure, clear, unadulterated, sparkling juice came out the other.

I have visions of getting up in the morning and drinking fresh fruit juices or maybe fresh fruit juices that were de-pulped the night before and stored in the fridge before going for walk/pitiful excuse of jog.

The boy, on the other hand, keeps having visions of the juicer breaking down so he can try and put it together.

Either way, we are both pleased as punch at our first major kitchen appliance!

Yeah, nothing like a juicer, especially here! Btw, that kind (as per your pic)is the easiest in terms of cleaning.
