Ok enough of the lovey-dovey
The Boy arrives from work to find me asleep at 5 in the evening. This is becoming a recurring theme.
TB: what are you doing?
Me: sleeping.
TB: at 5?
Me: I am taking a vacation day
TB: from what? you've been off for a week.
Me: From cooking & cleaning
TB (looking around at strewn clothes and other whatnots): i can see that.
So, that's what I did and the boy huffed and puffed about, sighing about the mess, but
Over the weekend, the boy and I went for movie with his couple friend, lunch with some other newly married couples, drinks at new club, gym, and went for a swim.
And I just needed time to myself. And I needed to talk to MY friends and say 'crap' and 'shit' and 'rubbish' and just need to regroup
I went to a detached away place, talked to some friends, did some reading.
The new job only starts in a couple of months and I need to get things organized for the wedding.
People i need to find:
- a photographer
- a videographer
- a DJ (geez - couldn't I get the ipod and stick with some speakers)
- an officiant
- and a florist
and I am being a lazy, taking a day off on my months off person.

So, are you pretty much starting all over with the wedding stuff now that you've moved?
I'd love to have "vacation" days at home, but if I'm home, I feel like I need to be doing stuff. Unless I'm sick - but that's not really a vacation.
Me,
Enjoy your break and yes, I can understand how a day off your days off is sometimes necessary.
