- Gigglyfriend and boy (hers) came and went and it was as glorious as I expected it to be. We laughed and giggled our way through a whole sunny day at water park, tried varied cuisines at various restaurants and it was one of those "I'll remember this day even if there were no photographs" day. I think it's been a long time since I have had this much fun without the boy.
I have to say this though. What is it with some Indian guys? There were a bunch of desi folks at the park and all the women in the group were covered with tracks and t-shirts (which hey, that's ok if that's what you want) and the men had their bathing suits on .
But what was weird was that every time the lot of us passed the lot of them, the women would stare and the men would nudge each other and snigger.
Really, dudes? Have you never seen a desi in a swimsuit before? It was one of those moments where I was glad I was where I was - it's like when you live here, nobody really cares what you wear. I mean, honestly, stopping and staring and oogling for wearing a swimsuit in a waterpark??
- I am going away for the weekend to see the boy. We are doing no traveling this time. Just me forcing boy to come see the 'i feel like such a perv for saying this but the increasingly kindahot' Potter in new movie & making boy watch Knocked Up , which truly and honestly looks like a chick flick but ssooooooo isn't funny movie of this year. Honestly, the Paul Rudd/Leslie Mann couple is so us!
- I raced all over town yesterday - getting my hair done, eyebrows done and doing my nails so that I look perfect to see boy's friends this weekend. Because really, that's who I do these things for - the boy is so maddeningly blase about these things "Oh baby you look beautiful always" Right dude, after 3 bloody hours of hair pulling, hair styling, mani and pedis, I prefer if you would drop down and worship my gorgeousness instead.
- Drove to mall to return VS only to find receipt in hand was not the receipt needed and receipt needed was in Roomie's car. Dang it. Drove back to find Roomie gone to see some transformers. Dang it again.
- My wish kid is getting her wish to go to Disney and I am throwing her a party. Roomie looked so sad when I told her that, "It's really a going away party, isn't it?" .Oh.
- I sent away resume+cover letter to fabulousplaceinbestcityofthemall and now have been spurred to apply like crazy to other places in bestcityofthemall. I feel, unless something dramatic happens at work, I have already sort of exited out.

I have a huge pet peeve against desi guys who stare, at home OR abroad. Their gazes cling. Ew.
Have an awesome weekend. Does this mean more cool pics on fb?
Lol, about the boy worshipping your gorgeousness....yup, guys just don't seem to get that. Hopefully, boy's friends will fall on their knees instead.
Going away party....awww....
I killed a bird with my car on the road today. Cried all the way to work...it was SO awful...I felt horrible, horrible, horrible....

Desi men, they never let you down, do they?!
You really deserved that awesome weekend !!
Sounds like an great weekend!
hahah...yup Desi men living up to their rep :)
Water parks are so much funner than amusement parks!! I do like them tho, but the addition of water makes everything so much more funner :D
I saw Transformers too - loved it!! Brought home all the childhood memories
SK have fun, cheerish these moments coz later on you will wonder why you didnt
Ps tell the boy to worship your gorgeousness. they dont take hints you have to say it loud and clear so that he worships you later on (experienced man talking)
Have fun and all the best on the job hunt.
