i am getting all hecked by the countless new malayalam movies that I have been catching up on lately:
Why the heck are the men in them such bloody chauvinists and the women all so meek and giggly and so ready to fall for the man who takes charge by slapping their ahankaram (pride) away?
The critics are right - the good mal films are long dead!
I am going off to watch the Law & Order marathon on TV.

Yes, yes, yes!
You see so many really strong women around; the ones who face up to problems and who come through everything, and you get so mad that Malayalam film makers think the only way to portray women are as simpering idiots who are so dependent it makes you want to scream.
