Saturday afternoons

After many weeks where Saturday afternoons were taken by glorious and not so glorious people over for lunch, shakespeare in the theatre, wedding appointments, trainer and all that,
i have the entire Saturday all to myself.
So in bed I am, with laptop and wedding shows on and calls from boy, and a bowling in the evening

Update on wedding:

  1. I got myself a wedding card designer, who is super creative and will hopefully take my design to new and unique heights.
  2. I interviewed another caterer and though a bit hung over, I think he might be it. Also, for some reason, they have a deal with this place to do my + maid of honour's make up.
  3. And finally, my father, who after much hassling from my mother and the siblings (the ever wonderful Annmol & Sammol) finally wrote me a letter and a call:
"Dear Mol,
Many thanks for your mail. Hope this finds you well. I think your invitation looks suitable. I suggest a couple of changes to the text. Please find attached. Let me know what you and the boy (his exact words) think.
Love and prayers always,
Daddy"
I am so relieved and so glad to have my daddy back.
He also made me send him the wedding menu.
Nice.
The boy is relieved because he sensed I missed my dad a lot over this.

Sometimes it's hard for daddies to let go. I'm glad your's is coming around... Your wedding will be so much nicer and more fun if Dad's not sitting in his chair glowering the whole time!

I'm glad to hear that things are going well for you. The caterer was hung over? But you still got good vibes from him, right?

Also, I'm glad that you and your daddy are okay. I fougt tooth and nail for the invitations and I still didn't get what I wanted. They said the first batch that I paid for for were incorrect. And why didn't we put our sponsors names on it? Blah blah blah.

Then they got a second batch and made me send those out instead.

Two weeks later my parents send the first batch was fine.

*sigh*

Paperback - your travails sound so familiar. Are our parents related?

Attila - Yeah I am glad too :)
