3 Updates
So,
1.
The heart thing - i think, not so serious as it sounds.
More tickling and amsuing that worrying
(which was boy's reaction when first told news outside doc's office - "WHY THE HECK ARE YOU SOUNDING EXCITED ABOUT IT?"
Boy has now got into habit of calling me in office in the afternoon and admitted he was worried, which for the fiercely reticient boy, is ma-jor!)
Got call from cardiologist (really, just saying it makes me sound as if I am having weird out of body experience) office.
I am to be fitted with an event monitor not halter.
And have to wear it for a month.
Event monitor (after confusing calls between general physician and cardiologist) will be mailed to me (?) and I get to attach it to myself with instructions book.
Uhmm..
2.
The spate between wedding caterer and wedding venue can not be resolved unless $ 1000 get paid by ME.
gEEz.
So, after numerous calls to and between venue place and their caterer, and promises of prompt reply, I am going with venue caterer
Also venue caterer has pastry chef who is charging me $ 3.50/slice for wedding cake.
I feel like i am dealing with some kind of wedding mafia here.
"This is a friend of our associates. You got any beef with them, call us."
My other wedding cake person is only charging $ 2 though she only does buttercream and chocolate (blech)
But like wedding caterer says "What's a dollar here and dollar there if you get tiramasu (yummy), or fresh strawberry, ah?"
So, boy and I are looking forward to negotiations and negotiatons.
So hooorah!!!

The boy is coming to visit next weekend and we are doing our food tastings. Hooorah hoorah!!!

personally i love chocolate cake... but strawberry sound sgood too!! i guess im not helping!
1. Glad things aren't as scary as originally thought. If they let you put it on yourself, it can't be THAT hard, can it?
2. This definitely sounds like a racket to me. But tiramisu or strawberry sound good... glad I'm not making that decision!
3. Perhaps the Boy can help you out with the decision on #2 when you do your food tasting this weekend. I'm assuming you get to actually TRY these delicacies???

On a lighter note..3.50$ per slice???????!!!!!! I donno abt prices in the US, but isnt that EXPENSIVE?? and how do they charge for a wedding cake by the slice?? Isnt it like one huge cake???

2. I know, doesn't it. We are going to do some hard looking into and negotiating. and tiramisu is heavenly, and chocolate, and strawberry, sigh!

YES oh yes yes yes - $3.50 / slice is bloody expensive...and yeah, wedding cakes are charged by slice. I think its because then you know exactly how many it will feed.
sooo relieved... about your heart... how goofy that you can plug yourself in all by yourself. I can only imagine what the instructions will be like! You must tell us all about it, please.
