Muzak in the morning

I don't like muzak!!!!
I don't like it at all!
Surpassing my hatred for MUzak is 90s boy band/single man songs disguised as Muzak.
Got up at 5:45 to do some work and call father.
Had to get a phone card for it and since there was something wrong with the order, got customer service.
Here's how it went:

"All representatives are busy at the moment. Kindly hold on for next available rep...
I think they were so excited about playing Backstreet boys that they cut themselves off in the end.
"I dont care who you are, where you're from, as long as you love me"
i held on for the entire song.
I was that sleepy.
then came
"Because I looooove you, ..."
And then
Richard Marx : "You make sense of madness from the battles that rage in my head, .... I will be your man"

Things I wish I had done:
I wish I had spent the nineties not swooning over silly boy bands and Richard Marx.
I wish I wasn't so sleep hungry that it took me three whole ninties fluff music to realize I need to hang up.
I wish I didn't have those insanely sacchrine songs etched in my head for the rest of the day.
And Richard Marx, no I don't want you to be my man and get your velvety, crooning voice out of my head!

damn - dont throw richard marx away with them notonmystreet boys! sure, bad hair n high pitch croon - but have you forgotten goodies like Satisfied, Hazard, or wait - one of the rockiest songs ever: Playing with Fire!!
and in case you're cracking up at a defense of mr. croon - i'll just lay back on some headbanging shred-cred that i once had and wait till you turn "Playing with Fire" all teh way up and then i'll watch ya make some noise. go ahead, give it a try...
