Things you learn from weekend in bed
1. Sean Prestton Spears was blessed by SAMUNDRALA KRISHNA MA CHARYULU of the Malibu Hindu Temple.
2. There are people making money working in a profession called "Celebrity Kid Stylist"
3. Americans are more obese than Europeans but Europeans smoke more than Americans.
4. Jeremy Piven is exploring India on Discovery.
Paraphrase Piven, after his meeting with old Jewish Malayalee women in Kerala,
"It's amazing how a country primarily known for one religion has all these different religions in it... (My) meeting with her it's like two old jews meeting from two different parts of the world." I heart Piven because he sometimes gets India.
5. In Panda Hypermarket in Saudi Arabia, a sign blocks one aisle, where a bearded controller guards shelves of CDS, DVDs and cassettes. "Dear customer," it reads in Arabic and English, "Females are not allowed to enter this area."
From the May 12th edition of The Economist which suggests Saudi might be slowly reforming except for ideas such as above which is "the need to protect women from the evils of Disney films and pop music".
6. Tom Cruise urges Katie Holmes to stiffle cries and talking to her child for seven days. CallherKate not Katie Holmes agrees.
7. I find Oprah Winfrey a little annoying now. There is only that much adulation and goodwill that you can take.
10. The fat kid in Bad Santa breaks my heart because he's so adorable.

Hope you're feeling better. :-)
I heart Piven although I can't even remember the movie ( yes the one movie) I saw him in and he was kind of a jerk in it.
He's in that Entourage thing, isn't he? Gosh...I can't remember a movie with him...but he just seemed like very appreciative of India.
Hey attila,
I am feeling better. Thanks.
He had bit part sin lots of movies (including my personal fave, Say Anything). He was in PCU (although I'm sure he doesn't eant anyone to remember that). He's in a new on called Keeping up with the Steins.
I loved that special with him
